What is the Sweeper Spotlight?
Each week Sweeps features a Sweeper and donates $15 to the organization or cause of their choice. For more information on the program click here.
Brett has selected the Wounded Warrior Project for his $15 donation.
The Wounded Warrior Project’s mission is to “foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.”

Brett is a runner, a reader, and luckily for us, a mover. He’s an experienced mover, and our customers love him! “I like working the variety of jobs available, especially the moving ones,” he said. “It’s a great way to earn money and has flexible hours.”
When he’s not working a Sweeps job, he’s probably watching basketball or a documentary, or hanging out with friends. At UNC-Charlotte, Brett studies political science, and wants to work in urban planning after graduation. He’s interested in planning for human population growth in condensed areas.
For his $15 Sweeper Spotlight donation, Brett chose the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project helps injured service members by connecting them with each other, raising public awareness, and creating unique rehabilitative and transitional recovery programs.
“I’ve had friends who joined the military and they’ve said it’s a great foundation that truly hopes to help soldiers and their families alike. I had a friend serve overseas and he swears by the organization,” he said.
The organization uses donations to fund programs for service members and their families. Learn how to donate here.
“It’s a great project to help wounded soldiers who have bravely volunteered to fight for our great nation, some making the ultimate sacrifice,” Brett told us.
